Creating a stained glass piece and restoring one are two very similar bur also very different endeavors. Michael enjoys doing both (that precise engineering-trained mind of his comes in very handy!), thankfully, since they require more patience and precision than I can muster. I'll stick to fused glass instead, thank you very much!
Early this year, Michael lovingly restored the beautiful panel, pictured above, that had been salvaged from a century-old church in England. The client, a local pastor, was thrilled with the final result and is proudly hanging it in their home. Don't you just love a happy ending? :-)
